Sx Star Cruises specialise in tailor-made luxury cruise holidays. Having traded successfully for over 15 years, they felt the need to re-define their brand strategy and identity, with a view to creating better clarity in their positioning and communications.
We were asked to work across all of their marketing collateral from brochures and direct mail, to social media and email campaigns.
The brief was simple, we were asked to make them stand out from their competitors with a brand that placed them at the forefront of luxury cruising. We felt their existing brand lacked a modern-luxury feel so we updated their logo, introduced a new serif typeface and used a richer colour palette.
Once the new guidelines were in place, we then rolled this out across press advertising and email campaigns.
We also introduced icons and symbols to help users navigate and understand the updated brochures and press ads better.
Another successful project completed for Six Star Cruises was the destination almanac. This was mailed the 'Top 100 High Spending Customers' alongside wicker baskets full of treats. The hard back coffee table book was filled with stunning destination imagery and bucket list 'once-in-a-lifetime' itineraries.
When sales were tracked by their marketing director it generated £1 million pound in repeat business over a period of 3 months. The project was a huge hit on social media also and customers shared pictures of their gifts in the post.
